| Important Information for Vendors
We want you to have a good experience at our Hamfest. That probably means selling lots of stuff and making a good profit for your efforts.
We want to help in any way we can. Do not hesitate to suggest ways we can make things better for you or for the Hamfest in general.
There are some simple principles that we expect all of our vendors to abide by:
- Treat everyone with respect. Deal with everyone the same way you expect to be dealt with.
- Weapons, adult material, food and any illegal items may not be offered at our Hamfest. This is a family friendly event so keep your
offerings appropriate. Other than these restrictions you can sell just about anything. We expect the majority of offerings to be Ham related.
We have had stuffed animals, leather belts, jewelry and home improvement on display. All of this is perfectly acceptable.
- Ohio law prohibits smoking in all public spaces and businesses. Smoking in any form is strictly prohibited.
How Tables are Assigned:
- Vendors who regularly exhibit at our Hamfest will get preference when asking for particular spaces. Most of these vendors ask for
"the same tables I had last year" but sometimes they ask for something else.
- Vendors who pay ahead of time get priority for table assignments.
- Tables against a wall are scarce. There are around 40 of these tables. About half of them are usually occupied by regular vendors.
Ten of them do not have easy access to electricity. If you want a wall table you MUST reserve early.
- All tables except the ten against the east wall have access to electricity. If you need access to electric be sure to say so on
your reservation form to be sure you do not get assigned to one of these tables.
- Single tables will NOT be assigned to a corner. Two or more tables will usually include a corner. You can ask for "no corners" and we
will try to assign your tables accordingly.
- An "end cap" includes two corners and will require 4 or more tables. There are limited number of end caps available so if you want one make sure
you send in your reservation early.
The best advice is to reserve early if you want anything special.
Vendors looking for a large block of tables should call to discuss their needs. We will make every effort to meet those needs.
